Toronto-listed microcap Nevada Sunrise Metals Corp has engaged ABH Engineering for engineering studies on its 100%-owned Gemini lithium project in Nevada’s Lida Valley basin, where it made a new discovery of sediment-hosted lithium mineralisation last year.
The company said ABH had started drill data verification and desktop analysis to produce a National Instrument 43-101-compliant technical report, “with the further goal of generating a preliminary economic assessment”.
Nevada Sunrise says Gemini, about 10km east of Lida, Nevada, is in a flat, arid basin with a “similar geological setting to the better-known Clayton Valley basin where Albemarle Corporation operates the Silver Peak lithium brine mine”.
The company has a current market value around C$11 million.
