US-based Tetra Tech will oversee front-end engineering design (FEED) work on Fission Uranium Corp’s PLS uranium project in Saskatchewan, Canada. Fission has just finished hydrogeological and geotechnical drilling, results of which will feed into underground mine and infrastructure, and tailings facility, optimisation studies.
“With all FEED drilling data now in hand, and one of the world’s top engineering consulting groups on board, we continue to make excellent progress through this important engineering design stage for the PLS high-grade uranium mine and mill project,” Fission CEO Ross McElroy said.
Tetra Tech Canada will be supported by Clifton Engineering and Mining Plus during the FEED phase.
Clifton’s focus is the PLS tailings management facility while geology and mining engineering consultant Mining Plus is doing underground mine design work.
