Australian gold major Northern Star Resources has bought US$28 million worth of diesel underground mining equipment from Swedish manufacturer Sandvik.
Sandvik said delivery of the trucks and loaders was expected to start in the first quarter of 2026 and continue through the year.
The manufacturer’s mining business area president Mats Eriksson said Sandvik was supplying “intelligent” equipment to Northern Star.
