ASX-listed RocketDNA says further purchase orders from BHP Mitsubishi Alliance covering deployment of its survey drones and software at BMA’s Queensland coal operations takes the overall value of contracts with the mine operator to about A$1 million.

RocketDNA gots its first $450,000 order from BMA in September. It has now expanded deployment of its technology, including six dual SurveyBot units, through to June 2026.

“All purchase orders involve the operation of RocketDNA’s xBot platform, supported by SiteTube software integration to deliver real-time geospatial data for mine planning, geology and environmental teams,” RocketDNA said.

CEO Chris Clark said the contract extension reinforced the “strong performance of our xBot and SiteTube platforms in live mine environments”.

“It highlights the confidence major miners have in RocketDNA’s autonomous drone technology and data delivery capabilities,” he said.
