Swedish equipment manufacturer Sandvik says a circa-US$45 million machine order from an underground mining contractor in Mexico involves deliveries through to 2028.
The order from La Cantera Desarrollos Mineros includes loaders, drill rigs and rock bolters.
Established in 2006, La Cantera Desarrollos Mineros says it has worked for mining companies such as Fresnillo, Penoles, Grupo Mexico and First Majestic Silver.
The contractor has more than 1500 employees at its sites in Mexico.
