Software firm Geovariances now part of Constellation

Leading French geostatistical software firm Geovariances has been added to the Constellation Software mining technology stack aligned to its Vela Software and Datamine businesses.

Geovariances has been working in the mining, energy and environmental geostatistical software and consulting space for about three decades and has Rio Tinto, MMG, South32, Newcrest Mining, Gold Fields, Vale, AngloGold Ashanti, BHP, Anglo American and Codelco on its client list. The Avon-based company has offices in Australia, Brazil, Chile and Canada, and expects to benefit from Vela’s broader geographical spread.
