Evolutionary steps are the way forward for an Australian mid-tier gold miner and its new head of data, AI and analytics, Charlotte Crabtree, who naturally believes she is “sitting on a gold mine of data” at Evolution Mining.
“We’re going to reset, we’re going to make some improvements, and then we’re going to deliver and evolve,” she told the 2023 Digitalisation in Mining Australia conference in Perth, Western Australia.
“We’re going to be future-focused, focusing on data culture and partnerships, building a high performing team, using the best tools and technologies; we’re going to govern what we do.
“We want data to be a part of our DNA.”
