Bentley Systems CEO Nicholas Cumins says the US-listed software company continues to see strong mining-led expansion of its resources business segment, which contributed about a quarter of its US$410.7 million June quarter revenues and $835 million first-half sales. The company is actively seeking acquisitions in the space, analysts heard on a results call.
Q2 revenue was up 12.8% year-on-year and the 2026 half-year total was 13.6% higher yoy.
Bentley’s annual recurring revenues were up 12% yoy at the halfway point of 2026 at $1.54 billion. The company is guiding for $1685-1715 million of total 2026 revenue (plus-11-13% yoy) and thinks it can generate $500-570 million of free cash on the back of that.
