Last year’s record global technology M&A deal rate can be topped in 2023 due to the “record number of buyers [and] just under US$6 trillion looking for a recapitalisation or acquisition”, a webcast hosted by leading US sell-side tech deal advisor Corum Group has heard.
“With the IPO and SPAC options chilled, banks expensive and VCs suddenly picky, M&A is a primary liquidity option for most owners,” Corum CEO Bruce Milne said on the call.
