Newly launched Veracio is “gaining traction pretty quickly”, according to Boart Longyear CEO Jeff Olsen, who believes the sensor and software technology business can “create a stir in the marketplace”. How much purchase should become clearer in April this year.
“I think the opportunities for Veracio going forward and the value that Boart Longyear and Veracio will create are tremendous,” Olsen said on Boart Longear’s FY22 results call, when he announced the mineral drilling services and products major’s first US$1 billion-plus revenue year since 2013 and first net profit ($12 million) in a decade.
