Paul Bergstrom will head mining equipment maker Epiroc’s digital solutions business – into which it has tipped more than US$400 million of acquisitions in the past two years – from the middle of 2023.
He will join Sweden’s Epiroc from domestic medical equipment company, Elekta, where he has been an executive vice president for the past five years.
Bergstrom previously also held management roles at Swedish telco Ericsson.
The 48-year-old electrical engineer will replace acting division president Ashleigh Braddock at Epiroc.
