BHP and Rio Tinto automation business leaders will talk about mining’s interoperability challenges at next week’s Element Mining Summit 2024 in Sydney.
Jim Keravala, CEO of robotics firm OffWorld, will be joined by BHP robotics and automation lead, Andrew Scott, and Rio Tinto automation projects principal advisor, Michael Thomas, and other industry leaders to discuss robotics, autonomy and interoperability in one of several sessions on the information-packaged schedule.
Attendees will also hear from mining and space leaders about the widening intersection of terrestrial and offworld exploration and resource extraction technology, and about cutting-edge developments in the wider robotics sector.
