Denmark’s FLSmidth has landed a US$33 million order for grinding plant and mill liners from an unnamed gold project developer in North America.
The manufacturer said a 10.4m-long semi-autogenous grinding mill and 7.9m ball mill were expected to be installed and commissioned in 2028.
“This order reinforces our position as a leading supplier of grinding technology to the global mining industry and reflects the confidence customers place in our proven SAG and ball mill solutions,” FLS products business line president Qasim Abrahams said.
