FLSmidth says crushing, sizing and screening will become its fourth business line from the start of 2027, with Alanas Kraujalis appointed to run it.
The Danish company has capital products, service and pumps, cyclones and valves business lines.
Kraujalis, currently interim service president, will head crushing, sizing and screening from January 1 next year. Petri Virrankoski is joining FLSmidth next year as president of the service business.
“FLSmidth is well advanced in the planning and development of its new corporate strategy, which will expectedly be launched in November 2026,” management said.
“The CSS business line is expected to mainly comprise technologies and services that currently form part of the service and products business lines. It brings together higher-volume, repeatable and more standardised offerings sold primarily through site-level channels, while the capital products business line will remain focused on larger, lower-volume and more engineered offerings.”
FLSmidth will outline business line strategies at its capital markets day in Copenhagen on November 17.
