ASX-listed GR Engineering Services has confirmed a US$81 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to build a 1.2 million tonnes per annum gold-ore processing plant for K92 Mining in Papua New Guinea.
GR said in July this year it had received a letter of intent from K92 for the Kainantu gold plant contract.
It expects to start site mobilisation early next year.
“GR Engineering has a long track record of successful project delivery in the mineral processing sector,” GR managing director Tony Patrizi said.
“We see this contract award as a strong endorsement by K92 Mining of GR Engineering’s proven process design record and EPC delivery capability.”
