Leading privately-owned mining software and technology firm, Maptek has described a new geospatial data management tool as a “game changer” at a launch in Colorado, USA.
The Australian-based company introduced its Maptek GeoSpatial Manager at GeoWeek in Denver.
Global strategy manager Jason Richards said the product generated real-time laser and drone survey data updates, via a web interface, simplifying and speeding mining and civil engineering project workflows, and providing an answer to the “challenges of managing vast volumes of survey data”.
GeoSpatial Manager allowed users to review inspected surfaces for specified dates and times, providing clarity on an operation’s current and important previous states.
Maptek is allowing multiple users in an organisation to manage survey data from other Maptek products and GeoSpatial Manager via a single licence.
