Helsinki-listed Metso will build a new circa-€85 million (US$90 million) copper concentrator in Kazakhstan for an unnamed customer.
Metso said its delivery scope covered grinding, flotation and dewatering equipment, including HIGmill grinding mills, TankCell flotation cells from 30 cubic metres to 630cu.m, Larox PF pressure filters, and HRT thickeners.
It will also supply an on-line sampling and analysing system, field instrumentation and Proscon automation for the plant.
Metso is among the world’s largest manufacturers of mineral processing equipment.
