Marathon Gold Corporation has ordered €15 million of crushing and milling equipment for its proposed US$360 million Valentine gold project from Finnish manufacturer Metso Outotec.
Marathon is targeting average production of more than 170,000 ounces a year over 13 years from the mine, in Newfoundland, Canada, starting in 2024.
Metso is supplying a grizzly feeder, jaw crusher, SAG and ball mills, a mill reline machine, vibrating screens and a tailings thickener with feed system.
