Seattle-based Microsoft executive Uwa Airhiavbere has joined the board of ASX-listed mining technology and consumables company, Imdex.
Airhiavbere, chief commercial officer, worldwide energy and mining, with the computer software giant, is now a non-executive director of Imdex. He leads Microsoft’s end-to-end commercial strategy in the energy and mining industries.
Airhiavbere has live and worked in Africa, Italy and the United States.
“Following a comprehensive search, we are delighted to welcome Uwa to Imdex,” Imdex chair Anthony Wooles said.
“His professional experience, industry knowledge and contemporary appreciation of technology globally, are an excellent strategic fit and will build out our board’s existing strengths.”
