Monadelphous wins $150m of work

Australian engineering company Monadelphous Group has picked up about A$150 million of new work with heavyweight miners Fortescue Metals Group, BHP and Rio Tinto.

FMG has engaged Monadelphous to build an overland conveyor and transfer station at its Christmas Creek iron ore mine in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. The civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works are expected to be completed in the first half of 2024.

Monadelphous has won two-year maintenance contract extensions with BHP at Olympic Dam in South Australia, and with Rio Tinto at Gove in the Northern Territory.
