Andrea Aranguren has been confirmed as president and chief operating officer of MineHub Technologies following its acquisition of her company, Waybridge Technologies.
Aranguren co-founded Waybridge with Scott Evans after they both worked at Goldman Sachs.
MineHub and Waybridge have both been working to digitise commodity trading and supply chains.
TSX-listed MineHub acquired Waybridge in a US$2.5 million scrip deal announced in March this year.
Aranguren led customer implementations, counterparty onboarding and ecosystem partnerships for Waybridge’s global customer base, which included large international copper and aluminium producers.
She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honours in economics and received an MBA from Columbia University.
