ASX-listed engineering company Monadelphous Group says it has secured about A$215 million (US$145 million) of new resource, energy and infrastructure construction and maintenance contracts.
The new work includes utilities and reagents scope additions to front-end pyrometallurgical plant construction at Albemarle’s Kemerton lithium hydroxide expansion project in Western Australia, and a multidisciplinary construction contract from Chevron Australia to support installation and modification of electrical power and control facilities at JanszIo in WA.
Monadelphous also won two three-year maintenance services contracts under a new framework agreement at BHP’s Mt Arthur Coal operations in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. Both contracts include two, two-year extension options.
Monadelphous’ renewable energy joint venture, Zenviron, has secured a contract for balance-of-plant works at Tilt Renewables’ Latrobe Valley battery energy storage system (BESS) project south of Morwell in Victoria.
