Perenti underground contract mining business Barminco has won a A$157 million contract to see out the projected life of the Nova nickel mine in Western Australia.
Barminco, which started work at Nova in early 2015 when the greenfield mine came on line, will complete underground mine development, production and mining support services over 29 months in an extension the started on July 1 this year.
Perenti said no new growth capital would be spent to see out the contract.
