Epiroc has wrapped up acquisition of Australian mining and construction wireless connectivity business Radlink, which won circa-US$25 million worth of mine communications infrastructure contracts earlier this year.
Epiroc bought 53% of Radlink in 2022 and now owns 100%.
“The innovative team at Radlink is already an integral part of Epiroc, and together we are bringing advanced connectivity solutions to mining customers,” said Epiroc CEO Helena Hedblom. “We look forward to continue providing mining companies with the right digital solutions to strengthen their operations.”
She said Radlink products provided remote mines with reliable, secure and high-speed bandwidth to enable applications such as automation, fleet management and real-time data.
Radlink has 415 employees and generated 2024 revenue of about US$130 million. Despite the material size of the business Epiroc did not disclose the acquisition cost.
