Metso has won a €70 million equipment order for a Turkey gold ore processing plant.
The Finnish company said it expected contracts for the crushing, grinding, flotation, thickening and pressure filtration equipment to become “effective” in the next two months. It will also supply slurry pumps, gold room equipment, process analysers and samplers, and an automation system.
The equipment is for Gubretas Maden Yatırımları’s (GMY) phase II Sogut gold plant in Bilecik province.
“It was important for the Gubretas Maden Yatırımları team to select the best technology to ensure top-class performance,” said GMY general manager, Halit Semih Demircan.
“We believe that Metso’s proven gold processing technologies will provide this.”
