Morocco phosphate mines order Weir equipment

Staff reporter

London-listed Weir has picked up £25 million (US$33.5 million) worth of process equipment orders from two new phosphate projects in Morocco.

The company said OCP Group had purchased Warman slurry pumps and Cavex hydrocyclones for its Benguerir and Louta sites.

Weir has previously supplied equipment to Benguerir, which is trebling production. Louta is under construction.
