ASX-listed Monadelphous Group has announced its second lithium plant construction contract this month with a circa-A$100 million concentrator build for Liontown Resources at Kathleen Valley in Western Australia.

Monadelphous said construction of the wet plant at Kathleen Valley was expected to be completed in mid-2024.

“We are extremely pleased to have been awarded this significant contract in the growing energy transition metals sector, and look forward to continuing to develop our relationship with Liontown Resources,” managing director Zoran Bebic said.

Monadelphous said last week it had won a $160 million construction contract at Talison Lithium’s Greenbushes site in WA’s south-west.
