Australian mining and civil contractor NRW Holdings has received confirmation of a A$960 million, five-year contract extension at Ansteel Group’s Karara iron ore mine in Western Australia.
Karara produces about eight million tonnes per annum of magnetite iron concentrate.
ASX-listed NRW said the five-year extension would take its completion date at Karara out to the start of 2032.
It is provided load and haul, drill and blast, and ancillary services.
