ASX-listed Perenti has picked up A$393 million of new underground mine contracting work at mid-tier gold producer Regis Resources’ Duketon operations in Western Australia.

Perenti, through underground business Barminco, says no new growth capital is required for the three-year extension of its activities at Duketon, where Regis has the Rosemont and Garden Well underground mines.

Underground development, production and support services are being provided.

“We’re very pleased to continue our partnership with Regis Resources at the Duketon operations where Barminco has been providing value to our client through both development and production works since February 2019,” said Perenti CEO, Mark Norwell.

“This award adds Australian-based underground earnings to our portfolio, which is aligned with the ongoing delivery of our strategy.”
