Australian gold miner Ora Banda Mining has awarded a A$233 million process plant contract as part of its recently approved $375 million Davyhurst expansion project in Western Australia.
ASX-listed GR Engineering Services won the engineering, procurement and construction contract to build a three million tonners per annum process plant next to Davyhurst’s existing 1.2Mtpa plant.
GR Engineering’s share price is up more than 16% in the past month and has nearly doubled in the past year. Its current market capitalisation is about $982 million.
“We see this contract award as a strong endorsement of GR Engineering’s proven process design record and EPC delivery capability,” managing director Tony Patrizi said.
“GR Engineering continues to build its contracted pipeline of work in FY27 and FY28.”
