Finnish manufacturer Metso says it has won orders for key process equipment for the A$289 million processing plant at ASX-listed Develop Global’s $329 million Yitirrti copper-zinc-silver project in Western Australia.
The plant is being built by GR Engineering Services under a $275 million contract announced this month.
Helsinki-listed Metso couldn’t disclose the value of the equipment being supplied but said it included a jaw crusher, cone crusher, apron feeder, flotation cells, thickeners, stirred media regrind mills and slurry analysers.
Yitirrti, previously called Sulphur Springs, is slated for production in mid-2028. It is expected to produce up to 79,000 tonnes of zinc and 11,500t of copper a year and 490,000t of zinc and 75,000t of copper over eight years.
